The Pure Coconut Oil can be used in several ways:
A Moisturizer for Face and Body. Apply generously after showering, giving yourself about 3-5 minutes for the product to absorb into the skin before dressing.
A Massage Oil. Te viscosity of this product is amazing. A little of the product goes a long way! Apply a pea size amount to the skin and work product through the body fully
A Hair Treatment. Apply a generous amount of the oil to the scalp and through hair. Let set for 5-15 minutes, depending on the damage. Rinse cleanly with warm/hot water. You can also wrap your hair in a towel after the oil is applied for a deeper treatment.
For Cooking. Coconut Oil has been used in hundreds of meals. From a substitute for butter, to a frying oil. As an appetite suppressant: for a healthy start and end to your day, take a tablespoon of the oil every morning and night.
Why I Love It
I am such a huge fan of Montmorillonite Clay as many know, so why do I offer Coconut Oil to buy? This is a true story and how coconut oil became a part of our family. My youngest daughter who is in high school came down with the mononucleosis virus (aka the kissing disease). The funny thing is her boyfriend did not have it nor her other friends. The doctor told us it is so contagious, she could have contracted it by sitting at the same desk as another infected person, or it may have been airborne after an infected person sneezed! Wow! She was so sick, unable to move and the worst part is there is no cure according to the doctor…you just wait it out, sometimes for 3 months!
That really got me when I was told there was no cure. So, I decided and hoped I could find something to speed the recovery up a bit as 3 months is a long time to wait it out. I did tons of searches and I kept coming across people who had mono also but seemed to get better quicker by taking coconut oil. So, onto the grocery store and I bought a jar. She started taking 1 tablespoon 3 times a day. She actually craved it and for a couple of days was one of the only things she would eat. Within a week she was back to school and almost completely recovered. I have to say her skin looked great.
What is in the coconut oil to make this happen? Coconut oil contains Lauric acid.
Dr. Mary Enig, a nutritionist/biochemist and one of the world's leading authorities on fats and oils, goes on to say, "Approximately 50 percent of the fatty acids in coconut fat are lauric acid. Lauric acid is a medium chain fatty acid, which has the additional beneficial function of being formed into monolaurin in the human or animal body. Monolaurin is the antiviral, antibacterial, and antiprotozoal monoglyceride used by the human or animal to destroy lipid coated viruses such as HIV, herpes, cytomegalovirus, influenza, various pathogenic bacteria including listeria monocytogenes and heliobacter pylori, and protozoa such as giardia lamblia. Some studies have also shown some antimicrobial effects of the free lauric acid."
I bought the book “The Coconut Oil Miracle” by Bruce Fife, C.N., N.D. and started reading up on this miracle oil. This book gives you information on how and why coconut oil should be in everyone’s life. I found this company at a Natural Product Expo called “Organic Fiji.” What a great company with wonderful products and their coconut oil to me tasted the best. So that is why I am offering “Organic Fiji” to everyone. I have a tendency to have dry heels, and taking 1 tablespoon a day seems to take away that problem, plus I noticed my hair seems to be shinier. One more thing, cooking and adding a bit of coconut oil is a plus. I fry tortillas, scramble eggs, pop popcorn, the possibilities are endless!
